Mavis Richards lived in Mexico for 17 years where she studied Natural Medicine and Massage Therapy. This wonderful experience also included learning and studying specialties in Chinese medicine, Reiki, Herbology, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. Mavis completed her Registered Massage Therapist training at Grant MacEwan College in 1982. Massage has proven to be beneficial for lowering blood pressure, decreasing cortisol, decreasing pain from injury or chronic illnesses such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, surgeries, scar tissue etc. Absolute Health Incorporated would like to advise you that Mavis, who you have seen in the past for massage therapy is now also practicing as a Registered Acupuncturist at our office.
