PRESCRIPTION REFILLS Submit your refill request online to easily order your prescription refills. Use the "Select-a-Service" drop-down. PRESCRIPTION RENEWALS Have a pharmacist renew a prescription or provide you with a refill extension if deemed appropriate, to help you avoid any interruptions. PRESCRIPTION DELIVERY We offer free delivery for your prescriptions. SHARPS DISPOSAL PROGRAM Safe disposal of syringes, pen needles, lancets, insulin, pump infusion supplies, and test strips MEDICATIONS RETURN PROGRAM Safe disposal of expired or unused medications, creams, and inhalers MINOR AILMENTS As of January 1, 2023, as per regulations your Weston Downs pharmacist will be authorized and ready to prescribe medications for 13 minor ailments that include: Allergic rhinitis Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush) Conjunctivitis (bacterial, allergic and viral) Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic and contact) Dysmenorrhea Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Hemorrhoids Herpes labialis (cold sores) Impetigo Insect bites and urticaria (hives) Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease Musculoskeletal sprains and strains Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated) Dispensing fee plus medication costs * prescribed medications may be covered by OHIP We also offer free delivery for prescriptions!
