BackgroundDr. Claudia Amaniampong was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She then moved to Ontario to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Amaniampong enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is dedicated to providing patients with a relaxed and educational optometric experience. BackgroundDr. Roslyn Scalise joined IRIS in 2015 after graduating from New England College of Optometry. She was born and raised in Calgary, and returned here after Optometry school to build her practice and start her family. Dr. Scalise helps patients of all ages to enhance vision and manage ocular health; she also has a particular interest in contact lenses and pediatrics. BackgroundDr. Samantha Halvorsen was raised in Camrose, Alberta and has called Calgary home since 2016. She completed a Bachelor of Science in biology and history at the University of Alberta Augustana followed by her Doctor of Optometry at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. During her training, she gained diverse experiences at clinical sites throughout Puerto Rico, Alberta, and at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Walla Walla, Washington. Dr. Halvorsen is proud to provide care for the whole family, with special interests in geriatric populations and glaucoma management. When not in clinic, you can often find her hiking, cross-country skiing, or spending time with her husband Alex and dog Loki.
