BackgroundDr. Parikh wanted to become an Optometrist from a young age. He started at the University of Toronto for his undergrad, where he graduated with High Distinction. He then attended the University of Waterloo, graduating as an Optometrist.
Dr. Parikh was able to learn from the best during his various clinical rotations in Canada and the US. He developed a particular interest in Vision Therapy, and Myopia Control, and prides himself on educating his patients and providing the tools and resources they need to take care of their health.
In his free time, he likes to play basketball, cheer on the Raptors, and spend time with family and friends. He joined IRIS in 2018, wanting to be a part of a team that provides the best eye care and eyewear.

BackgroundDr. Koutsogiannopoulos grew up in Niagara and graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1987. Dr. Koutsogiannopoulos joined IRIS in 2010. She has worked in various practices managing a variety of eye conditions, laser correction and co-management. She is an active member of Canadian Associations of Optometrists, and Ontario Association of Optometrists. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, photography, travel and the culinary arts!

Dr. Shanjee BhavanOptometrist
BackgroundDr. Bhavan grew up in Scarborough and received a Honours Bachelors of Science degree from McMaster. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2020. He completed an Ocular Disease Externship at Scarborough Eye Associates, where he got exposure to a vast array of retinal diseases. In addition, he has worked in various private and specialty practices managing a variety of eye conditions. Dr. Bhavan is excited to provide eye care to all ages in the North York community. His clinic interests include myopia progression control in children, and treating dry eye disease. He is an active member of Canadian Associations of Optometrists, and Ontario Association of Optometrists.
