The city is once again near the top of a national list for the longest waiting times at walk-in clinics, according to data from Medimap, which provides waiting times online for patients trying to visit a family doctor. Victoria patients waited an average 137 minutes per visit at walk-in clinics in 2022, the second-highest in the country after North Vancouver, which had an average wait of 160 minutes.
