I recently changed my pill and my period hasn't started. Is this normal?

It is normal for your periods to be irregular when switching to a new birth control pill. Your body needs time to adjust to the different hormone levels. If the irregularity persists after 4 months and is bothersome, you should consult with your pharmacist who can help communicate with your doctor about potentially switching to a different contraceptive. If you have missed any pills and had unprotected sex, it is important to address this with your pharmacist to assess the risk of pregnancy.
