At Attune Counselling Therapy, our mission is to help people uncover, explore, and enjoy greater self-awareness, self-empowerment, and well-being. We do this by offering effective, high-quality, specialized mental health services. People often reach out to us for support with anxiety, mood issues, substance use, stress, feeling overwhelmed, grieving loss, and major life transitions. Our counselling therapists are committed to providing individualized therapeutic conversations that target issues and concerns in your life. We use evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are tailored to each person’s needs. We are a non-judgemental, diversity-aware, and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming safe space. We start by building a safe, inclusive, and supportive connection with you. We help you by being trusted listeners skilled at hearing what is most important to you in our work together. Then, we explore your strengths, skills, and core values that can help you in creating meaningful and lasting change in your life. We provide you with individualized methods, tools, and practices focused on what brought you into counselling therapy. As we work together, we’ll stay aware of where we are on your path to creating change. We’ll celebrate successes and identify challenges that might be keeping you stuck. We work with teens (16+) and adults of all genders and affectional/sexual orientations in individual and couples sessions We offer in-person and video appointments. The office is located in downtown Dartmouth, a short distance from the Alderney ferry and bus terminal. Free on-street parking is located nearby.
