Psychologist
As a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in perinatal mental health and couples, marriage, and relationship therapy, I support individuals and couples navigating emotional, relational, and psychological challenges during pregnancy, postpartum, and across major life transitions. Many clients are referred by OB/GYNs, midwives, family physicians, and pediatric teams who recognize that timely mental health and relationship support can significantly improve both individual wellbeing and family outcomes.
My work is grounded in both clinical training and lived experience. Having personally navigated postpartum depression and anxiety, I understand intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, identity shifts, and the strain these experiences can place on intimate relationships. Combined with specialized training through Postpartum Support International, I provide care that is both deeply empathetic and clinically effective for individuals and couples.
I use evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, EFT, IFS, and the Gottman Method. My work is trauma-informed, client-centred, and paced to each individual or couple’s emotional capacity. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership, where clients are active participants in their own healing and growth.
Together, we identify goals, explore patterns within both individual experiences and relationship dynamics, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change. Therapy focuses on building emotional regulation, strengthening communication, improving connection, and developing coping tools that help clients and couples navigate difficult situations with greater confidence, resilience, and long-term stability..
