Welcome to Shawano Pharmacy, a proud First Nation-owned and operated pharmacy serving the Winnipeg, Manitoba community. Shawano Pharmacy is a unique venture, owned by the eight First Nations that make up the Southeast Tribal Council, also known as Southeast Resource Development Council (SERDC). Each of these Nations is an equal shareholder in Shawano Pharmacy, and they receive proportional profit sharing from the transactions they direct to the pharmacy.

Located at 2 - 2521 McPhillips Street in Winnipeg, Shawano Pharmacy is a brick-and-mortar pharmacy licensed by the Manitoba College of Pharmacists. Additionally, it provides distance-based and mail-order services to all Manitobans.

In 2018, SERDC envisioned and established Shawano Pharmacy, making it the only existing Aboriginal-owned and controlled distance-based pharmacy in Manitoba. Initially designed to serve the member Nations of SERDC, it now welcomes prescriptions and supply orders from all remote Manitoba First Nations and off-reserve individuals who prefer the convenience of having their medications and supplies delivered by mail.

Proceeds from our services flow back into YOUR community, providing employment opportunities and fostering an integrated healthcare model with SERDC Health Services. We aim to have a more significant presence in your community, offering both pick-up and home delivery options for your convenience.

As a community-owned pharmacy, we are more accountable to you, and our services extend beyond prescription medications. We provide medical supplies and equipment, as well as a wide range of over-the-counter medications to meet your healthcare needs.
