MINOR AILMENTS


As of January 1, 2023, as per regulations your Keele-Ingram Pharmacy pharmacist

will be authorized and ready to prescribe medications for 13 minor ailments that

Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush)


Conjunctivitis (bacterial, allergic and viral)


Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic and contact)


Dysmenorrhea


Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)


Hemorrhoids


Herpes labialis (cold sores)


Impetigo


Insect bites and urticaria (hives)


Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease


Musculoskeletal sprains and strains


Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated)


PHARMACY SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAM


 Help to quit smoking, available for Ontario Drug Benefit recipients


OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATION


Review or assessment of over the counter medications, natural health products,

or vitamins to ensure they are positively contributing to your health.

SHARPS DISPOSAL PROGRAM 


Safe disposal of syringes, pen needles, lancets, insulin, pump infusion

supplies, and test strips.
