I am newly diagnosed with epilepsy and have been prescribed Keppra. Does this medication have to be taken on a regular schedule? I get up at 9:30 in the morning, is it too late to take the medication?

Hello, it is important to take Keppra regularly, as close to 12 hours apart as possible. Taking the morning dose at 9:30 a.m. should be fine, as long as the evening dose can be taken at 9:30 p.m. Thank you for your question.
