My doctor diagnosed me with a yeast infection. I also thought I had a urinary infection, but my urine test came back normal. Could it be due to my yeast infection?

It is possible to develop a urinary tract infection as a result of a yeast infection, such as Candida. If your symptoms persist after treatment, it is advisable to follow up with your doctor to rule out any complications or other infections. It may also be worth considering other factors such as irritation from certain products or materials, which could also explain your symptoms. In the meantime, using a silicone-based lubricant or non-latex condoms could potentially help alleviate discomfort during sexual activity.
