I have inspired to become a Psychologist my entire life! I believe people are fascinating, social beings, I strive for everyone to feel connected. For more than two decades I have worked with human services, most recently, first responders. My varied and unique experiences help me, help you! I specialize in mental health conditions related to trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and unhealthy coping strategies, within all age groups. My primary focus in therapeutic sessions are providing a safe and non-judgmental space to uncover your strengths and achieve clarity to your challenges. I begin sessions from a client focused approach, and am able to bring in other modalities as needed that that promote positive growth.

I am a social worker and have been working in the mental health field for 15 years. I started my career working with families experiencing homelessness and addiction. This work sparked an interest in the connection between traumatic events in early life and mental health problems in adulthood. I am hear to listen, provide a non-judgmental space and support you. I have a particular interest in working with complicated grief and with families struggling to parent children with challenging behaviour. I believe that change takes place when people connect with their emotional experience. I focus on models of therapy that will help you better understand and regulate your emotions. I am working toward certification in Emotion Focused therapy.
