McGee Therapy & Consulting Inc. is the [private therapy and counselling](https://www.tracimcgee.ca/) practice of Traci McGee, MA, RMFT, RCC-ACS, CCC, PMH-C. The office is located in downtown Victoria at the Centre for Counselling & Therapy. This is in the Yarrow Building at 645 Fort Street at the corner of Fort and Broad. Traci provides therapy and counselling for couples, families and individuals. For other therapists and counsellors, she is an [approved clinical supervisor](https://www.tracimcgee.ca/victoria-approved-clinical-supervisor). As well, Traci operates the [CRD Perinatal Counselling Program](https://www.crdperinatal.ca/) and is a local advocate for perinatal mental health services. Traci is one of three partners who operate the [Centre for Counselling & Therapy](https://www.cfct.ca/).

Background
I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT #2017227) with the CACFT and a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC-ACS #1406) with the BCACC. And I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #11247463) with the CCPA. As well, I am an Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapist (ECFT) certified by ICEEFT, and a Perinatal Mental Health therapist (PMH-C) certified by PSI. For twelve years, I was employed as a clinical member of the provincial government’s child and youth mental health team for Victoria. Following that period, since 2006, I have operated a full-time private practice. In 2016, my practice was incorporated as McGee Therapy & Consulting Inc.
Specialty / Services
I use evidence based techniques including CBT, EFT & EMDR. I take a systemic approach, treating the whole individual within their family system. Trauma & loss are common themes in my practice, as well as depression, anxiety and other mood disorders.
