My name in Dr. Maggie Gibb and I have been helping Lethbridge and surrounding community experience better vision for over 16 years. I established my eye clinic, IRIS here in 2005 right after graduation from University of Waterloo in Optometry. I did my undergrad at Queen’s University in Kingston where my love of science and math lead me to becoming an optometrist. I am from Sudbury Ontario where most of my amazing family still lives and enjoys the snowy winters, I do miss the landscape of beautiful northern Ontario and the lakes but those Alberta skies and mountains are still inspiring every chance I get to enjoy them. I have always loved sports and used to spend my days out on the calm Ontario waters rowing until I moved out here where the chinook winds blow! I am still an avid downhill skier and absolutely love going out to castle mountain with my amazing family, Fiona and Gwen and husband, Jeff and even sometimes our dog (penny) comes out for the fun!! I hope to instil a love of sport and sportsmanship in my daughters and sense of community. We just relocated my IRIS clinic to the new state of the art sports facility here in Lethbridge that supports our community with swimming, field house, rinks, curling and daycare programs. Both my staff and family are excited to begin this new chapter with IRIS and be active and involved in the community here in Lethbridge.
