r. Leonard Lam joined IRIS in 2005. He currently practices out of the Coquitlam and Burnaby IRIS locations where he proudly serves both communities. He values these communities as he grew up in Burnaby and now raises his family in Coquitlam.

Dr. Lam’s passion is providing primary vision care, but he is also able to provide optometric services in the form of children’s eye exams, myopia control management, dry eye evaluations, contact lens consultations (soft and specialty), refractive surgery co-management and urgent care.

Dr. Le joined IRIS in 2019, where she practices primary care optometry with a special interest in dry eye disease. She attended the University of British Columbia for her undergraduate studies where she received her Bachelor of Science. Dr. Le graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. Throughout her time at Pacific University, Dr. Le’s hard work and dedication earned her a spot in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honours Society.  

Dr. Desiree Lui graduated from The State University of New York, State College of Optometry, a school that includes one of North America’s largest outpatient eye and vision care facilities — The Optometric Center of New York. She performed her residency at this clinic and at Lighthouse International, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to preserving vision. Dr. Lui completed a combined Optometry-Masters Degree with honours, before returning to her hometown of Vancouver. In 2008, She joined IRIS where she shares commitment to outstanding patient care.

Studying in New York was Dr. Lui’s first time living abroad and she has since made travel her number one hobby. She has visited China, Japan, Paris, Florida, Chicago and Hawaii.
