CURA EyeCare Optometry is a fully-equipped, modern, trendy and welcoming eye clinic in North Vancouver's vibrant Lower Lonsdale area, providing friendly but professional services for all of your eyecare and eyewear needs. From the moment you walk into the clinic, to when you leave, great care is taken by our staff to ensure you receive quality services specific to your unique eye-related needs. We also partner with local senior care facilities to provide mobile optometry services to patients who have difficulty leaving their home or care facility. We know vision plays a significant role in one's quality of life and we believe everyone deserves access to quality eyecare; so if you can't come to us, we will come to you. For everyone's safety, all staff are voluntarily double vaccinated against COVID-19 and all equipment and frames are sanitized after contact with every client.

Dr. Solamita Avanessian discovered her love for ocular health in high school and spent 8 years in university studying to become an optometrist. Upon graduating, she practiced in British Columbia for two years and was then recruited to work in the Cayman Islands, where she spent three years gaining experience treating many eye conditions. She moved back home to beautiful BC in 2021. to serve the North Shore community. She welcomes new patients of all ages and especially enjoys caring for families.
