operated by Berdine Fazakas. It is a full-service pharmacy, offering niche
services such as specialty compounding, pharmacogenetic testing, food
sensitivity and hormone testing. We stock a carefully selected range of
traditional and natural products. We put the needs of our patients first and we
pride ourselves on building personal relationships, providing professional

BERDINE

Pharmacist/Owner

Originally from South Africa, where I received my pharmacy degree and master’s
degree in pharmaceutics, I moved to Canada with my husband and 2 children in

1. I am a registered pharmacist, a board certified health practitioner
   through the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, and a qualified Integrative
   Nutrition Health coach. I have experience in pharmaceutical production,
   regulatory affairs, hospital and community pharmacy, but my true passion is
   helping people find health and wellness on all levels through a holistic
   approach, by integrating pharmaceutical care with evidence-based complementary
   products and therapies.

Pharmacist

Originally from Manitoba, I moved to Prince George with my husband in 2013 for
what was supposed to be a few years. Nearly a decade later, we are still
delighted to be a part of this wonderful community. The majority of my career
has been spent in community pharmacy practice and my focus as a pharmacist has
always been patient-centered care. My goal is to help people achieve their
desired health outcomes, using pharmaceutical care coupled with scientifically
supported complementary therapies, while being mindful of their individual needs
and values.

The role of the pharmacy is changing. Whole Health Pharmacy & Compounding is
meeting this new role by providing a comprehensive and integrated approach to
health and wellness. Combining traditional pharmacy services with natural
alternatives, we offer a full-service medical dispensary coupled with a broad
range of natural and homeopathic remedies. As a complete health center, our
pharmacist and natural health advisor work together to provide specialized
health treatments based on individual needs.

We can fill your prescriptions, and our pharmacist is available to discuss any
questions you may have about your medication.

MEDICATION REVIEWS AND COUNSELLING

Our pharmacist can do a comprehensive review of your medications, identify and
resolve problems and work with your physician in order to improve your health.
Our pharmacist will provide vital information, advice and assistance to help you
with your medications and to ensure you take them properly. This will also
include important information about your illness and your lifestyle options.

COMPOUNDING

Compounding is the creation of a pharmaceutical preparation—a drug—by a licensed
pharmacist to meet the unique needs of an individual patient (either human or
animal) when a commercially available drug does not meet those needs. A patient
may not be able to tolerate the commercially available drug, the exact
preparation needed may not be commercially available, or a patient may require a
drug that is currently in shortage or discontinued.
