PRESCRIPTION RENEWALS * Have a pharmacist renew a prescription or provide you with a refill extension if deemed appropriate, to help you avoid any interruptions COVID-19 TESTING * Book appointment using the “Select-a-Service” drop down above. * Asymptomatic PCR test * Asymptomatic Rapid Antigen * Symptomatic Covid-19 test * Rapid Antigen Test Kit COMPOUNDING PRESCRIPTIONS * If your medications are not commercially available in the dose or form they were prescribed, we can create the medication in a form or dose for you. MINOR AILMENTS As of January 1, 2023, as per regulations your McKnight's pharmacist will be authorized and ready to prescribe medications for 13 minor ailments that include: * Allergic rhinitis * Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush) * Conjunctivitis (bacterial, allergic and viral) * Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic and contact) * Dysmenorrhea * Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) * Hemorrhoids * Herpes labialis (cold sores) * Impetigo * Insect bites and urticaria (hives) * Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease * Musculoskeletal sprains and strains * Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated) SHARPS DISPOSAL PROGRAM * Safe disposal of syringes, pen needles, lancets, insulin, pump infusion supplies, and test strips MEDICATIONS RETURN PROGRAM * Safe disposal of expired or unused medications, creams, and inhalers
