Dr. Kaila grew up in Burnaby, BC and completed her doctorate in chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic, graduating with summa cum laude top honors, in 1998. She also obtained her Bachelors of Science after completing her undergraduate studies in Science at Simon Fraser University. A Director for the B.C. Chiropractic Association, Dr. Kaila completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Functional Medicine is a personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers patients and practitioners to achieve the highest expression of health by working in collaboration to address the underlying causes of disease.
