Karen has over 30 years of clinical experience with a specialty focus in acute care - cardiology and chronic disease prevention and management. She transitioned into primary care in 2019 to improve access to this essential service for thousands of Calgarians who are without a primary care provider. She is the Vice President for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Alberta. In this capacity she has been working to provide Albertans with unfettered access to NP delivered primary care. She provides full, comprehensive adult focused primary care which is patient and family focused.
