Can I use amosan between my uses of magic mouth wash?

Yes, you can use Amosan between your uses of magic mouthwash, but don't expect immediate results. A mouthwash without alcohol could also be effective. If your symptoms are making it difficult for you to eat, it's important to inform your treatment team. Adjustments to your chemotherapy treatments may be necessary based on the severity of this side effect. Additionally, try to eat soft, non-spicy, non-acidic foods and brush your teeth at least twice a day to prevent bacterial growth. Using a soft-bristled toothbrush and flossing daily are also important. You could also try a mixture called "pink lady" for gargling, made of equal parts liquid Gaviscon or Maalox and 2% viscous lidocaine. If your situation does not improve, discuss it with your treatment team.
