Can mosquito repellent with citronella be applied to babies and to us if we are breastfeeding?

It is not recommended to apply mosquito repellents containing citronella on babies under 2 years old. For babies over 6 months, you can use products containing DEET, but make sure to choose a concentration of 10% and apply it to clothing rather than directly on the skin. In the meantime, you can protect yourself and your baby by avoiding exposure to mosquitoes during early morning and late evening hours, wearing long, loose, light-colored clothing, and using a mosquito net for your baby.
