Can we give my daughter Zantac once a day instead of twice?

It is recommended to give Zantac twice a day for the treatment of reflux, as its duration of action is not long enough to be effective with just one dose. Even if symptoms seem worse in the morning, it is still important to give a dose in the evening to help during morning feeds. If you have not seen satisfactory improvement after a certain period of treatment, it is advisable to consult your pharmacist to review the dosage and possibly contact the prescriber for adjustments.
