Forgetting a contraceptive pill that triggered menstruation: what should I do?

If you forget to take a birth control pill and it causes your period to start, you can stop taking the pill for 5-7 days and then resume as usual. It is important to have taken at least 3 weeks of pills before taking a break. Make sure to take the pills for a minimum of 21 days before taking another break. It is recommended not to have more than a 7-day break between packets.
