How can I reduce them? I would like for there to be fewer, no matter the shampoo.

To reduce dandruff, you could try using a shampoo containing zinc pyrithione, such as Head and Shoulders, every day or every 2 days until you have good control over the dandruff. After that, you can use it twice a week for maintenance. If this doesn't work, you could also try using Nizoral shampoo at the recommended dosage. When using these shampoos, make sure to apply them to wet hair, lather, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Hope this helps!
