How to manage clarythromycin (Biaxin) and Viagra interaction?

Good morning, sir. It is difficult to know how long the interaction remains after discontinuing Biaxin. We recommend decreasing the dose of Viagra within a week of stopping the antibiotic instead. If you are taking a 50mg dose, it would be prudent to take half the dose (25mg) for the next few days. Taking the full dose may cause hot flashes, muscle pain, diarrhea and visual disturbances. One week after the last dose of Biaxin, the chances of experiencing these effects with a 50mg dose become very low.
