I can't remember if I removed my tampon and it's not in place, is it possible that it migrated into the vagina?

It is not possible for a tampon to migrate into the vagina. The opening to the uterus, known as the cervix, is closed and prevents anything from traveling further up. If you cannot feel the tampon when inserting your finger into the vagina, it is likely that it is no longer there.
