I didn't finish my hormone intake weeks with my contraceptive pill but I got my period.

It is common to experience early menstruation when taking low-dose contraceptive pills, especially in the first 3 months of treatment. This may be uncomfortable but does not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive as long as you have taken the pills consistently and correctly. It is important to continue taking the hormones for at least 21 days in a row to maintain contraceptive effectiveness. You may consider starting the next pack after 5 days off instead of 7 to reduce the risk of experiencing the same issue next month.
