I got a positive ovulation test 4 days before my period. Is this normal?

It is not normal to have a positive ovulation test 4 days before your period. For best results, it is recommended to start taking the tests around 10 days after the start of your period and continue testing daily until you detect the hormone surge. Testing after that point may only result in confusion.
