I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted earlier this week (both on the same side), should I wait before brushing my teeth and if so, how long?

It is recommended to wait at least 72 hours before brushing the teeth near the extraction site. In the meantime, you can brush your teeth on the other side, but be sure not to spit as it may put pressure on the surgery area. Instead, let the water fall freely from your mouth. If the area is still painful or sensitive, it may be wise to wait even longer before brushing near the surgery site.
