I had unprotected sex on the first day of my birth control pills after my period, should I take the morning-after pill?

If you missed taking your birth control pill for 7 days or less, and then had unprotected sex on the first day of starting a new pack, you are still protected and do not need to take the morning-after pill. Just continue taking your pills as usual. If you missed taking your pill for more than 7 days, then additional protection and possibly the morning-after pill may be necessary. It's important to follow the instructions carefully to ensure proper contraceptive effectiveness.
