I have small blood clots in my period, is this normal?

Yes, it is normal to have small blood clots in your menstruation. Blood clots can be composed of blood, mucus, and pieces of tissue. If the blood is dark red, it is slightly macerated but still considered normal. If you do not experience any pain and feel well overall, there is no need to worry. If you notice the clots increasing from cycle to cycle, it may be helpful to take breaks more frequently. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
