I haven't had my period even though I've been taking the contraceptive pill for 7 years. Negative pregnancy test. Should I be worried?

If you have been taking the contraceptive pill for 7 years and have not had a period, and your pregnancy test is negative, there may not be a need to worry at this moment. Prolonged use of the pill can sometimes lead to the absence of periods. However, if you have had very light bleeding in previous months, it could indicate that your period is on its way. It is important to not wait more than 7 days after stopping the pill before resuming, as this could increase your risk of pregnancy. Remember that just because you don't have a period this month doesn't mean your fertility is reduced.
