If you have been in close contact with someone who has been recommended to get tested for COVID-19, especially if you have spent more than 2 hours in the same room with them, it is advised that you also get tested. However, if you do not have a fever, have not been diagnosed with a weakened immune system in the past, have not been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or have not been in close contact with someone recommended for testing, then there is no need to call the COVID hotline at this time.
