Is it normal that I still have not had my period 5 months after stopping the pill?

It is not uncommon for some women to experience a delayed return of their menstrual cycles after stopping oral contraceptive pills, especially if they did not have regular cycles before starting contraception. Normal menstrual cycles usually resume within 3 to 6 months after discontinuing the contraceptive. However, if you have not had your period for 5 months after stopping the pill, it may be a good idea to consult with a doctor for further evaluation and guidance.
