My 1-year-old baby has a rectal fever of 40 degrees. I don't know if it's fake news, but can I give him Advil?

It is recommended to avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications such as Advil™ during a potential coronavirus infection as it may worsen symptoms or delay optimal treatment. Instead, it is advised to take Tylenol™ or Tempra™ (acetaminophen) to reduce flu-like symptoms such as fever, body aches, headaches, and sore throat. If a fever persists for more than 2 days in a child of this age, it is important to seek medical advice.
