My 6-month-old is constipated since we started baby-led weaning. How much LAX-a-day can I give him? He weighs 19lbs.

It is recommended to give more liquid to help with constipation in infants. This can include breastmilk or formula, offered more frequently throughout the day. If the baby is older than six months, water can also be introduced in addition to the usual milk. Massaging the baby's belly and moving their legs in a pedaling motion can also help alleviate constipation. If these methods do not work, a small dose of laxative can be introduced gradually until regular and easy bowel movements are achieved. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
