My son has pimples/lesions on his buttocks and on the tip of his penis (raw lesions), what should I do?

It is recommended to apply a cream containing clotrimazole 1% locally on the lesions/bumps on the buttocks and tip of the penis twice a day for 7 to 10 days. If there is fever, deterioration, or if the diaper rash extends beyond the diaper area, it is advised to consult a doctor. It is also suggested to apply a thick layer of zinc barrier cream at each diaper change without necessarily removing it each time. Other tips to help reduce/treat diaper rash include maximizing diaper-free time, using highly absorbent diapers, avoiding tight diapers and plastic covers, changing diapers frequently, and gently patting the skin instead of rubbing it.
