My two-month-old baby only has a stuffy nose at night. When I use the nasal aspirator, his mucus is clear or white. What could be causing this?

The presence of nasal secretions in infants is normal and is due to the adjustment of their airways to a new, drier environment after birth. This can cause the secretions to become thicker and harder to clear. Using a nasal aspirator and saline solution can help make the mucus easier to remove. If your child struggles to breathe, develops other symptoms, or shows a decline in overall health, seek medical advice.
