Should Voltaren be avoided with COVID-19?

Anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided if you are suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19. If you don't have flu-like symptoms and are using Voltaren for another type of pain, you can continue to do so. However, there is some preliminary data suggesting that taking anti-inflammatory drugs during a coronavirus infection may worsen symptoms. It is recommended to avoid them and consider taking acetaminophen instead. If you have been taking anti-inflammatory drugs regularly for weeks, it is best not to stop them suddenly.
