What to do for gastroenteritis?

If you have gastroenteritis, it is important to focus on consuming light foods such as soda crackers, soups, broths, rice, and white bread. Avoid heavy and/or sweet foods like red meat, undiluted fruit juices, and milk. When you start eating and drinking again, do so very gradually, for example, taking a sip every 4-5 minutes.
