Reclaim your Voice & Rewrite your Story VOX Mental Health is a person-centred, trauma informed counselling practice that is committed to creating a safe, judgement free, supportive environment where you can begin to use your voice. Whether it is setting boundaries, processing your family of origin, working through marriage difficulties, setting goals, or developing coping tools for anxiety, we are here to support you and create a tailor-made treatment plan unique to you and your situation. We offer both virtual and in-person sessions that service individuals, families, and couples in Ontario Canada. Currently, in-person sessions are offered in Barrie ON.

Michelle Williams is a strengths based and attachment informed therapist with a BA in Psychology from York University as well as a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from The University of Waterloo (RSW). Michelle is trained in relational and narrative modalities and considers systems theory, person-in-environment, as well as motivational interviewing while supporting clients. After experiencing her own bereavement and working in hospice, Michelle went on to co-author a grief literacy training program (Being Here Human) that has been attended by over 1,000 participants in the last 4 years. In addition, Michelle is considered to be one of a handful of BIPOC Grief Experts in Canada.
