Hello, the use of alcohol and antidepressants is risky and I do not recommend consuming large amounts of alcohol with your medication. Maximum 3 drinks per day for a man is recommended. There is, to my knowledge, no increased risk to your liver from taking both the antidepressant and alcohol, compared to someone who takes only alcohol, especially if you do so only occasionally. The only risk in my opinion is to get more intoxicated with less alcohol consumption.
