It is not usually necessary to give Benadryl™ to a child of 2 years of age multiple times in the days following the initial dose. Only administer more if the hives are increasing in size. If the hives are decreasing in size or remaining stable, there is no need to worry or give anything further. Hives may appear for a few days after a significant reaction.
