Is insomnia caused by Effexor a side effect that will decrease, leave or persist?

The doctor said, "Insomnia is a known side effect of Effexor. Generally, this side effect should start to improve after one month of taking the medication at the same dose. Taking your medication as early as possible in the morning may help reduce its stimulating effect in the evening. If this effect does not improve after one month, it is recommended to discuss this with your doctor to get a medication to help you sleep."
