It is possible that you have a condition called angular cheilitis, also known as perlèche. In such cases, it is recommended to stop using regular lip moisturizers and instead use a hydrocortisone cream 0.5% on the affected areas 2 to 3 times a day. For dry lips, you can apply Vaseline™ as needed to help with the dryness. This can prevent you from unknowingly licking your lips, which may worsen the condition.
