"Thyroid; what are the symptoms of taking too high a dose of Synthroid?"

Some symptoms of an overdose of Synthroid may include insomnia, tremors, hair loss, weight loss despite increased appetite, palpitations/arrhythmias, diarrhea, weakness/fatigue, intolerance to heat, and irritability/nervousness. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it would be wise to discuss it with your doctor. Additionally, getting a TSH test and monitoring your Synthroid dosage regularly is important for your health.
