Are there any lozenges/medications that I could take to alleviate the symptoms of my cold (sore throat, blackout and congestion) while pregnant?

Good morning Mrs. For nasal congestion, saline therapy (Hydrasense) is recommended as it does not pose a risk to the fetus and is effective when used properly. For a sore throat, salt-saturated water as a gargle is the least likely therapy to cause harm to the fetus. You may also try using lozenges containing cetylpytiridium and benzocaine, however, make sure to respect the dosage and not take too much. Additionally, get some rest and save your voice if possible.
